Golden Gate bridge

There's nothing like a cycle over the Golden Gate bridge with a few friends. The day was brisk enough in San Francisco and even at 3.30pm it was amazing to feel the surge of heat as we neared Sausalito on the bridge. Taking a photograph like this would only be advised on the larger wider portions of the bridge as the serious cyclists/bikers get annoyed and might run you down and shout at you, so make sure to tuck your bike in a safe place too while you get snap happy. I was delighted that there was a new route once you got off the bridge and had to head to Sausalito town. It was much safer and not on the main road. Once over there, it's lovely to grab a bite to eat or take out your picnic and sit on the grass looking out at the water....
